Let’s start this gorgeous day today with an equally beautiful photo, shall we? As lovely as chiavari chairs are, sometimes they need a little zsa-zsa-zsu to personalize them for your wedding. Check out what this couple did with several strands of green ribbon!

Sweet Stylings Tip:
Instead of renting a regular sash for your chiavari chairs, consider purchasing several rolls of beautiful ribbon in your favourite colours and thinking of different ways to tie those onto the chairs. These ribbons are placed neatly in between the grooves, but you could also try a horizontal basket weave in between the bars. I particularly like that this couple chose to use both satin and organza ribbon for interest…although I would not recommend using only organza ribbon as they lack a strong visual impact due to their sheerness. Lastly, do not forget to use a very sharp pair of fabric-only scissors for clean edges! (I always carry one pair of “regular” scissors and one pair of fabric scissors in my wedding emergency kit).
