Spring wedding in mint, coral, gold and ivory with traditional Catholic ceremony and contemporary reception at Hotel Arts in Calgary
The Evelyn Clark Weddings team had the pleasure of working with Josie and Tim on their colourful and elegant wedding in Calgary.
Married on a crisp Spring day, Josie and Tim had a traditional Catholic ceremony service (with a pretty hip biker priest) at St. Joseph Parish and a more modern reception taking place at Hotel Arts.
Calgary wedding coordination
Josie and Tim liked the openness and “blank slate” feel of Hotel Arts, where they had room for their guests to mingle freely and lots of options for their floor plan and decor. We came on board to help Josie pull together her decor ideas in addition to providing Wedding Month Management.
Enjoy this pretty Spring wedding captured by the always lovely Cassie’s Camera!
Hotel Arts wedding reception
The ballroom at Hotel Arts is a neutral backdrop, but it can be a bit dark. We lightened things up with classic ivory and a subtle, shimmery peach for the table linens. Josie liked colour, but didn’t want colour to the be the main focus of the overall wedding. The solution was to add in pops of colour balanced with the neutral linens for a fun but tasteful style.
These centrepieces were bursting with roses and greens!
Congratulations Josie + Tim!
