Guess what? I’m doing something that is very difficult for me this weekend…I’m taking the weekend off!

Some girlfriends and I are getting out of town to celebrate the upcoming wedding of one of my best friends, and I will be unplugged from the online world. Oh, who am I kidding? Just unplugged from my laptop! I’ll still have my Blackberry — haha.

On that note, I will leave you with a unique bouquet design captured by Jasmine Star. I am totally digging the use of wire around the blooms to create almost a “nest” for the blooms.

Sweet Stylings Tip:
Yes! Ask your florist to get creative with wire. Great floral designers have loads of great tools and resources at their disposal to create really unique bouquet looks that go beyond flowers. The silver wire really adds something extra to this cool-coloured bouquet and plays off of the silvery sparkle of the brooch pinned to the stems…just be careful that the pokey ends of the wire are all tucked away as to not snag your dress.
