Since 2010, I have approached wedding planning a bit differently than what's typical in Calgary. After graduating with a degree in textile science and fashion merchandising, I set out making window displays for a fashion retailer.
Like many other planners, I did get into the wedding industry after planning my own wedding. But it wasn't because I had so much fun doing it.
I struggled with creating a wedding to my standard while planning in a city I just moved to, juggling a new career, and figuring out life with a fiance who worked out of town. I needed insider knowledge and support.
Leading up to the wedding day, there was a lot to handle. From managing guest arrivals, cultural traditions and obligations, to (of course) the actual wedding details. Juggling it all was stressful.
All of this pushed me to create a way to help busy couples who have demanding careers and complex weddings pull off a wedding that meets their standard of a stylish celebration.

I only accept 10-15 weddings at a time (not 40) because I personally plan and work with each couple. Of course, I can't do it all alone, so I work with a team of women to execute all the high-level plans and design on your wedding day.
Although many couples initially gravitate towards the design aesthetic my team and I create, couples say they also appreciate my humour and easy-going, yet meticulous, planning approach. You may have seen some examples of this on the Evelyn Clark Weddings Instagram and Tik Tok .
My team and I have had the pleasure of producing weddings at fine dining restaurants, top-rated clubs, and luxury hotels in Calgary, the Rocky Mountains, and even just outside of Las Vegas.
