Natalie and Rob’s Calgary wedding at the historical Lougheed House took place last Fall with almost perfect weather.
Both wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Victorian Lougheed House, where wedding guests were treated to an evening wedding celebration that embodied the intimate atmosphere of a formal dinner party.
Although a sudden change in weather flipped our outdoor ceremony plans into an indoor ceremony, the weather cooperated post-ceremony and allowed us to use the stunning grounds of the Lougheed House for some photos outside.
Some personal highlights include nods to Natalie’s Czech background and Rob’s military experience. A rosemary crown was placed on Natalie’s head to symbolize fertility and luck, and the bride and groom shared one bowl of soup during dinner to represent cooperation. Military aspects were incorporated with the sword guard at the end of the Ceremony and Rob and his comrades changing into military dress for the Reception.
TLAW Photography captured all the gorgeous details — enjoy the photos!
