Eve and Tom were a laid-back couple that did not want the typical “wedding” things. They came to Evelyn Clark Weddings for Wedding Day Management and Sweet Table Design for their Buffalo Mountain Lodge wedding in Banff.

While Eve does not have a sweet tooth (I remember her words being “I would rather eat a piece of bacon”!), she realized that others do and wanted to give her guests more options than one wedding cake for dessert.

Skipping the traditional “theme” or blatant colour scheme for her wedding, Eve concentrated on keeping things casual, but still elegant. The inspiration was the Twilight “Breaking Dawn” wedding — with greenery instead of typical flowers, creating a wild elegance — combined with DIY elements like chalkboards, mason jars and burlap. Even with her DIY spirit, Eve knew she wanted to work with our team for peace of mind. She wanted to make sure that all details would be completed and problems would be addressed on her wedding day. We were happy to do this — congratulations, Eve and Tom!
