Last Wednesday we were thrilled to announce that we won an award at an ISES event with Angela Desveaux of WedLuxe!

Through ISES, we had the chance to spend an evening listening to Angela’s story and dine an exotic dinner at Carriage House Inn. We also entered the tabletop design competition that showcased Calgary’s wedding talent.

The table designs were open for viewing throughout the event with guests choosing their favourite design and Angela choosing her winner. It was an honour to show our design among some of Calgary’s finest wedding/floral designers. Winning as Angela’s favourite was just icing on the cake!

ISES Best Overall Design award – Calgary wedding planner & designer

This particular design was influenced by our design for Luxe. This is a lighter take on our previous orange, blue and gold design though, adding pink and turquoise to make it more “Spring”.

Each table design had a unique look. It’s always exciting to see what others dreamed up and be challenged by the incredible work of peers. This continually raises the bar for design, and that benefits everyone. See photos of all the designs on LeBlond Studio’s Page.

After spending just one evening listening to Angela’s story, you can appreciate how gutsy and savvy she is. After all, WedLuxe is synonymous with all things exquisite when it comes to weddings. This feat could not have been accomplished without years of hard work.
