Good morning!

I picked this happy, brightly coloured photo of a bride and her maids to kick start this week. This wedding just screams “fun” and “summer” to me with its bright green bridesmaids dresses and the bride’s awesome orange shoes. I think it’s wonderful that the bride was not afraid to use colour and paired the green dresses with lush bouquets of orange and pink flowers and greenery too.

As much as I love a classic black and white wedding and its glamour, colour in wedding photos look phenomenal and evoke a happy, upbeat vibe. My advice to brides is to not get too bogged down trying to look as “bridal” as possible — you still want to look like yourself and remember to have fun…and why not add punches of colour to celebrate the joyous occasion?
